Middle section Round 1 P all. Remove m2 - m8 as you meet them. We will now work back and forth to close the middle part of the shield.

Preparation: Remove m1. Sl 3 sts.

Row 1 (RS) Using 8 mm (US 11) dpn. K3. K2tog tbl, k2tog tbl. Turn (no wrap).

You now have 5 sts on the dpn. The remaining sts are still on the circular needle. We will gradually decrease and work the sts from the circular needle.
